has anyone used air asia?

i noticed on their site they only have a 15 kg baggage limit!

(love to see americans get under that!)

so, how strict are they on that and do they charge like wounded bulls above 15kg?

i am flying from phuket to bangkok in early april.

are they the best option for pkt to bkk?

i guess i wouldnt have any more than 5kg anyway. so can pay that.

also will i get away with loading any heavy stuff into my carry-on?

generally i find air asia really good value for money, although sometimes they have the tendency to cancel a flight rather than run it with only a few people on board. this isn't usually a problem though as they have flights every couple of hours.

Nok Air

Bangkok airways

Thai Airways

 

worth a look although some are cheaper than others.
