I stayed in Pattaya during March 2007 and will be coming back July 2007. In March the going rate was around 34.50. What is the going rate at present? (Also, I agree with other posts, airline tickets are way up right now).

my mongering friend, how will your answer change your plans? March Vs. July? Up/down 10-20 percent? I know it's a lot of money in the long run but really, what will you do differently in such a short tiime change of the rate? I am faced with the same situation. The advantage you have now over last time is you now know how to save money. That can easily make up for the 10% change in rates over the last few months.

I'm in the same situation. I guess the answer is JUST BRING MORE BAHT. <huh

Tenqotodo - You are exactly right....it will not change my freakin' plans one iota - I guess I was just being curious - I apologize to all for such an inane query.

not inane at all. I am constantly inundated with price flluxuations and exchange rae deviations. It does make a difference from a pendantic point of view. My opinion is its like the price of gas... It keeps going up, and I have to pay it or find a cheaper alternative. I have not. Besides, i like spinners

Thanks again for the info -- Imus, Paris, Opie&Ugly, dipstick politicians and the price of gas -- screw it, I am headin' on back to Pattaya. I have to admit though - I'd like to see a return to the days of 40-1 -- it was much easier for my mathematically-challenged brain to handle. It is time for more tattoos anyway.
