I have never stayed there but believe for 500 baht a night it is ok.

I have stayed next door at ICE INN for 3 months and highly recommend it.

I also ate breakfast at the apex avery morning as the buffet breakfast is hard to beat and the coffee is the best

cheers

The Apex hotel is fine if you lazy. For 500 baht you get the essentials. The rooms are worn and shabby, but if you take a room in the back of the hotel (no carpet) they are clean. The front desk is cold, but efficent. There is no joiner fee and they take ID's of visitors.

I have stayed there many times and it is basic. There are different prices for the rooms depending on what floor they are on (carpet or no carpet).

Pros are , they are in a good location for the baht bus route and handy for soi diana bars/kiss food etc. And cheap!!!!

Negatives are....shabby rooms, BIG noisy air con units that CLICK on and off every minute or so. (no thermostat so no control).

Better you go round the corner to Bay breeze in soi honey inn
