I stayed at this guesthouse both in 2006 and 2007. The room rate is 700 baht in low season (I have heard that it is the same in high season but I'm not sure).

...location is basically right behind the King Kong bar on Soi 6/1

...free wifi but if you stay on the higher floor the signal is very weak at best

...they do not have in-room safes, only a safebox in the restaurant

...the location is good and I am sure I will stay there again

Bert's wife and staff are very courteous.

Thanks for the review in pics. I prefer LAN to wi-fi, and also prefer an in-room safe. I would have to say that the room is well-appointed for that part of Pattaya. Looks like a good rate as well. I would consider it for my secret 2nd room.

Does it come with it's own entrance so you can come and go without being seen?

never stayed there but ate there plenty of times-the food is excellent and good value-the place has entrances front and back and not a bad location as it is close to but not on Soi 6.

The rooms look really nice-700 in high season would be good but in low season I would prefer Sabai Inn for same price with access to pool and in room safe.
