I had a burger there last week. It didn't taste like beef. I am not sure what he mixes with it but I could not finish it.

 

The fries were excellent and the staff tried hard (but had to remind them to bring my Coke).

 

Bob, beef should taste like beef!

 

If I want to put A1 Sauce or ketchup or mustard, etc. on it I will.

 

Please give us the option.

 

 

Have you tried talking to him in private before slagging him in public. From what I observed in person, if something isn't to the customers liking, right or wrong, Bob will send it back without question.

 

I'm not sure what you are talking about with the A1/ketchup/mustard. Iv'e always seen those offered in their original containers.

Had the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich there yesterday (well, delivered next door). Thought it was fantastic and I will be back for sure to try some of his other dishes. Didn't rate the coleslaw, but I just put that down to different tastes and won't bother with it in future. Must try the ribs!

I was in there 4 or 5 times last december. The beef tasted like beef then. And they served the burger plain giving you the choice. In fact I seem to recall that being a selling point on the menu: you choose not us. Hope that hasn't policy changed

Tried to order today from Door2door only to be told that they were not opening until 1700 today. Happened to me last week as well when I tried to order. Lack of staff seems to be costing mucho business at the moment. I ended up ordering from Great American Rib both times.

 

Also noticed that Bobs seems to be no longer available from WOW. Shame as the delivery and service charges would be much less for the customer.

WOW and D2D slightly different business models.

 

Though I've used both and D2D for years, most food does not travel well and you get an overpriced set of crap which they would not dish out in the restaurant. That is all restaurants. Better stick to pizza and McD etc. for delivery.

the prices on WOW menu are nearly double to that of Bob's

 

this is how they can claim no service charge, since the service charge is already in the price per item

 

now you know why they don't charge extra for deliver to the dark side, it's already fuckin' dear
