Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Hi, I will be back in pattaya on the 25th of this month for the long haul and I am wondering can anyone suggest a Thai language school so that I can learn to speak, read, and wrtie thai.

Factors for consideration are cost and, can they give me a letter for an education visa?

I started with the Pattaya School of Languages just past Carrefour on Central Road. I did an hour at a time on a one to one basis. I can't recall the costs now but they will likely have gone up as that was coming up for 2 years ago.

Learning to read is a very good idea as you will then learn why words have the tone they do.

A good dictionary is essential. The best on-line one that I know is http://www.thai-language.com/dict/ though there are many words that aren't in it and a small number of the pronunciation guides and tones are wrong.
