Recommended Posts

A brilliant second half performance that produced 4 cracking goals to knock out a Copenhagen side that beat both Celtic and Man United in the Champions League last season!!!! :eyecrazy

I have a feeling your post aint gonna get much response from members so I'm gonna just add my congratulations. I watched on TV and it was a fantasticc result with Jamie Smith's first goal absolutely outstanding ..

Hey apart from the lad who is on loan from Birmingham am i right in thinkin that all other Aberdeen players

tonight were Scottish. :beer :beer

Isn't Aberdeen's ground, literally on the beach ? You must get some spray on a stormy nigh at one end.

Well done! Most English sides who win in Europe, have several players that will be playing in the 2008 Cup . Or the Africa Nations Cup in January. :thumbup

Great result, next round could be the mighty blues.

Yeah not the draw I would like as I think Everton are doing pretty well at the moment, although we did play each other a couple of seasons ago in Russell Anderson's (now at Sunderland) testimonial!! Would rather have Getafe in the next round but plenty fans up here would like Bayern Munich - we beat them in the quarter final on the way to winning the Cup Winners Cup - distant memory now! Alex Ferguson was still cutting his teeth then!!

Pretty close to the beach and the North Sea winds can cause quite stir for visting teams. It's good to see so many home grown players in the side, put together on a shoestring.

Just about.

Having finished 3rd in their group, they will be drawn against one of the group winners in the first knock-out round. Everton wojuld be a good draw for them and give them a very real chance of progressing to the next round. :D

Rangers will play one of the 2nd placed teams.

Oh Shit....Bayern....doesn't that big Italian centre forward, Luca Toni, who put paid to Scotland's hopes of qualifying for Euro 2008 by scoring 3 over the two games play with them?????

Still, I remember a few years ago Raith Rovers going to Munich in a European competition and being 1-0 up at half time before going down 2-1.

You never know.

Cmon the Dons :D :banana :D :drunk :clap1 :clap1
