Hotel with elevator and hot tub

LK Rennaissance on Soi Dianna has lifts and jacuzzi bath tubs in their studio rooms, we paid £1400 baht per night last year on a walk in price, hoping for the same deal this year. Have stayed there last 3 years and you cant beat the hotel, IMHO -

You will get the Eastiny Plaza and the Seven for a lot cheaper than 2500, the Plaza is the newer of the 2 and we stayed there 3 nights last year before moving to Soi Diana Inn, not a bad hotel, was clean, decent size bed Wifi and a safe in room, pool is ok also. There is a boutique hotel between 7 and 8 called the Idyll Hotel, think its possibly linked to The Sunbeam, they wanted nearer 3000 for a room, rooms looked really nice but wasnt paying silly money and not sure if it was girl friendly, it if is linked to the Sunbeam there may be a joiners fee.

Also stayed Eastiny Plaza last year, payed 1400 baht per night for 3 night in Oct, we then got a walk in price in the LK Renaissance of also 1400 baht per night, stayed at the LK for a further 25 nights, the LK IMHO is a much nicer hotel, great staff and a excellent location. Will stay there again.

Well just home after my 6th trip to Pattaya and i am well and truly depressed. Had a fantastic 4 weeks of fun but then again we always do when we are there. Started our stay in the Eastiny Plaza on Soi 8, stayed for 3 nights, hotel was ok, good pool, great location, not much interaction from the staff for the 3 days we stayed there but am sure if we had of stayed longer they might have come across better. After the 3 days at the Eastiny we got a great walk in deal at the LK Rennaisance on Soi Diana Inn, ending up getting the studio rooms for 1400 Baht a night, IMHO you cant beat this hotel for this price, great rooms, excellent, friendly staff and a great location. Also IMHO Champagne Agogo is the best gogo outside Walking St and is a stones throw from this hotel. Was good to see old friends, Adam from the Cherry was a great host as usual, my good friend Keela from Dream Bar on Soi 8 was also the usual gracious host and looked after us while we drank copious amounts of Sambucca at her bar (including free bar fines from time to time). Was surprised how quiet all the Soi's were compared to walking street, only place seemed to be doing any business was the Silverstar on Soi 7, good selection of women in there, was dissapointed in all the other gogo's around 7&8 especially Sexy Girls, probably my most prolific bar fine establishment in the past but only bar fined once this time around. We did find some diamonds on holiday, had to look hard this year but they are still there, found a few on Soi 3, 1st bar you hit as you are walking towards beach road from 2nd road in the little bar complex, that bar has 3 or 4 8's and 9's, only got to barfine 2 of them as one of my friends had a bit of hassle from one of the ladies and we never returned, was a bit gutted not going back but there is always next year. Bars i loved this year include the Cherry (of course), Champagne, Murphys Law (Steve cracks me up), the Billabong (best Breakfast), Dream Bar, and all the beer bars over the road from the LK Rennaisance on Soi Dianna Inn, had some laughs at them bars and bar fined some great girls. Walking street for me this year was just boss, had a few good nights at FLB, gogo's were just rammed, quality of the girls at some of the gogo's were incredible, ones that stood out to me were Whats Up (that place is just crazy), Peppermint, Silverstar, Misty's and best of all was the Airport, best looking women in any gogo IMHO. We had a little side trip to Koh Change this year, only 3 days but what a great trip, didnt really know what to expect, was thinking it was just a chilled out place with the only thing to do was to sunbath and swim in the sea, 1st night in we walked up the road and found about a dozen little beer bars, had a great couple of nights and barfined a couple of farm fresh cutties one of whome stole my heart and i think she may still have it. Well another year to wait till my next visit to LOS, who knows with the cuts this government are making i might get a redundnacy package and then i will be going there for good.

Gettin Baht in Pattaya - cash or ATM
ToffeeAl replied to Daveuk's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Yeah i agree with the above post, i took travellers cheques last year and will again in 2 weeks, only hassle was having to take your passport to cash them but exchange booths are everywhere so easy to get your cash then return your passport to safe in loom. -
1500 Baht per night for a Studio Room, rooms were really nice and had the advantage of having a Jacuzzi bath. Dates we were there were from 15th oct - 09th Nov 09 Have tried emailing them a few times to see if they can do the same rate but no response, i have noticed however that Skyscanner is advertising their rooms for £35 per night, Skyscanner is also advertising the LK Royal Suites for £25 a night so may try there.
