TG deal?

A friend of mine telephoned his agent enquiring about TG direct flights to Bangkok,prices etc,and he was quoted a fare however the agent then remarked something about a further NZ$100 reduction if he was buying either land or a residence whilst over there!

 

Never heard of it before,has anybody here got any news on this?

So tell them you're buying land AND a home, what a coincidence, give me my discount!! Ask for $200 because you're doing both.

 

It sounds 110% weird, but 100 bucks is 100 bucks, if they offer it, take it and run.
