Anyone stayed here? What was it like? Guest friendly? Price?

Haven't stayed but have walked by numerous times and it appeared to be a place that caters to tour groups.

Its a quality hotel dating from the 90's, a wonderful suite with private sauna is available. A bout 1200 bahts, it seems that the joiner is 300 bahts but not sure. a favorite of asians tourists.

Have stayed there on my only trip to LOS for 5 days last May 2007. Liked the deluxe room in which i stayed and the buffet breakfast was included in the daily room rate. I had booked thro a travel agent and sure feel i paid a lot more bcoz of some rip off done by the agent. I feel i should have booked direct with the hotel.

 

Nice pool,good complimentary buffet breakfast that included both thai & american food,nice room with a king size bed and a balcony with good pool view,mini bar,daily housekeeping done. I just paid 30 baht a day to them. Just be sure to book a room for 2 ppl stating Mrs. & Mr. XXX otherwise i guess you'll be charged extra for the girl. However one may have to pay for the second girl. I did n't pay anything extra as i did n't feel the need anytime to take in a second girl.

 

While my checking out the hotel, security guy( a thai) sounded a bit rude to me but i guess he was n't educated about falangs enough. Other than that i found the hotel to be of good value. A lot of japs stayed in the hotel and it caters to big tour groups, i guess.

 

I don't remember the exact room rate i paid thro the travel agent since i paid him in whole including my flight tickets.After i returned i found many websites quoting much lower rates for the hotel. Use them(websites) for a competitive price. I'm sure your TGs will love the room.

 

P.S.: You wont believe me when i say that i was asked if i wanted a girl among the room service maids. One young chap (male who provided room service) seeing me walk in with a lady every night, asked. But i promptly declined the offer since being a newbie i sensed i might get a starfish. But then it's up to u.
