It's one of the few things wrong with the place. No free wifi. To top it off, the speed is not all that great and I got dropped often and had trouble reconnecting. If it was free I would not complain, but to have to pay extra for a below average (even for Thailand) connection???

to be safe assume every internet cafe machine you use is infested with keylogger programs that will send everything you type (such as account names and passwords) to the bad guys who will use that information for nefarious purposes.
