BKK-Siam Reap-MNL-BKK

Recommended Posts

You can't do the trip on one or two airlines ...... three is the minimum. Bangkok Airways (Bangkok-Siem Reap), Siem Reap Airways (Siem Reap-Hong Kong) and a Philipine operator (Cebu Pacific is probably the best choice) (Hong Kong-Manila-Bangkok).

Flying into Siem Reap is costly .............. probably worth comparing the cost of flying into/out of Phnom Penh on budget carriers and doing Siem Reap as a side trip from there.

Wow your right it’s expensive. Didn’t expect it to be so expensive. Looks line it is cheaper to fly BKK-SR-BKK then BKK-MNL-BKK rather than trying to move on from SR. Thanks

Coming from the US, yoú may want to price up an open-jaw ticket with the likes of Cathay. Fly out to Bangkok and back from Manila (or vice versa). Should save a few pennies.

I was looking for something like that myself a little while ago BKK-REP-MNL. BKK-REP was expensive.

I looked at AirAsia for BKK-PNH, then bus to REP as apparently there is a good road for PNH-REP, about 4 hours maybe? Do REP for however long, then bus back to PNH.

Then it was either one of:

AirAsia PNH-BKK and Cebu Pacific BKK-MNL

or

Bus PNH-SGN, then SGN-MNL. Didn't investigate this one much, think it was expensive for SGN-MNL.

Ended up deciding to do REP another time, however will be using BKK-MNL on Cebu.

See airasia.com amadeus.net cebupacificair.com.

Make sure you compare fares with taxes etc included.

I don’t know what I’m going to do. I haven’t got my dates off work yet so I don’t know how much time I will have. Do you know if there is any visa service in pattaya. I don’t want to go to Bangkok. I could possibly return cheaply from SGN.

Just doing some quick research not worrying too much about dates or layover times this is what I found.

BKK-SR 6460B= $209 +20visa Bangkok Air

SR-PP-SGN bus=cheap +visa Air Asia

SGN-KUL $77

KUL-CRK 202MYR= $62

MNL-BKK $86 Cubu Pacific

Total $434 + visa costs

Do not forget the exit money if its the same as PPen its $25. This I know as I am just back from 4 wks in Asia. I appreciate you may want to see Ankar Wot, but it will be my choice not to return to Cambodia. I spent 3 days there and well I felt it a waste apart from seeing the Killing Fields and the school come prison which was all very sad and tearful.
