Well i know its long running question but is there anywhere else (Pattaya or Jomtien) that can offer same levels of accomodation and pool as the Pattaya Bay Resort does for less than 1000bt p/nt.

All replies greatly appreciated as always new places opening up all time but was last there 6 mths ago so shud be few new 1s opened up???

Has to be GG/Lb friendly too and not in centre of all action, thats all am asking, so many thanks.

Cheers

Just spent 16 day’s in the Sunview Place, for 800thb a night I couldn’t fault it. There is no WI-FI or DVD in the room but I do other things than watch movies or surf the net for hours on holiday :clap1 . Nice but small pool area clean big new (ish) rooms friendly staff no problems with guests and right on the BB route.

Checked out the Opey Du Place for a mate while there although the pool area is nicer the rooms seemed a little “cheaper” and not in as good condition. But looked OK and I know it’s a popular choice.

Natural Beach Hotel, which has an excellent location on Beach Rd about 20M from Mike's has rooms for around 800B. It's a decent, albeit older place, with a nice, small pool.

I

Honey Inn, soi honey

Sunview Place, soi buakow

Golden Sea, soi buakow

Stayed at Sunview for two weeks last year. Its ok, clean rooms but a bit spartan. Pool is good.

Very popular with the middle eastern crowd.

Cons. Its noisy, from the road and the night market next door, if thats still going. Some rooms cop a lot of sunlight in the morning. And walking down Buakhow aint fun.

Girls ID is a must, and only one girl at a time.

I'd go the Opey in preference.
