Monthly Rate for Hotel

Help me out.

Been coming to Pattaya for 7 years.

Coming again Jan-Feb 2009.

Looking for a monthly rate room.

Near Beach Road... such as Dynasty Inn, Sandy Spring, Sunshine Hotel in Quality.

But do not want to pay the day rate.

Hi noticed the Diamond City hotel on my recent visit to Patts last month.

 

Seems good value and good location but sure i heard theres bit noise in evening from karaoke bars or traffic???

 

Looking to stay here on my next trip in Feb too

 

If anyone has stayed there would appreciate your comments thanks.

Even though many of the hotels don't have published weekly or monthly rates, I never paid the daily rate when I use to stay in a hotel after my first 2 trips to Pattaya. I would check out a hotel that looked good, view the room and if I liked it I would ask the rate. When they quoted me the daily rate I would then ask what they would charge me for a months stay. It was anywhere from 50% to 25% off the daily rate and I would still get daily housekeeping and utilites where included in the price. You need to have the manager on site because the desk person can't offer these rates. I did this back in 2002 until I got a year round place back in Dec 04 so maybe things have changed, but there has been numerous places that have opened since then.

AFAIK there is no more Karaoke. It's been turned into another of Tony's 'ventures'.

 

Next time I'm in the area at night I'll post an update. Actually, the building is set quite a way back from Third Road, so I don't expect traffic noise to be a problem. The only thing I could hear was the music from the Karaoke, but that's gone now.

Thanks Valentino as it looks favorite so far on my next trip to Patts.

 

Think have been in most places now along soi Buakow but seems like there all putting prices up now.

 

Pattaya bay resort gone up to 22k for month stay now plus elec/water!!!

 

Will email a few hotels plus 1 i saw wen was there new 1 called Golden Sea hotel i think set back from soi buakow.

Looks good from what have seen goin past there on travels last month.

 

Anybody stayed there recently and comments???

Room ok?/quiet / has wi fi inet access?? safty box/ good service?
