Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Hey Steve.........take a look at this website ok?

http://pattayaone.com/index.html

It shows hotels listed in alphabetical order (left side) and info on joiners fees, a webpage link, rates, internet connection or not and a room safe or not.

This will save you hours and hours of searching and asking questions.

The Mercure does list joiners charge at 500 baht.

I would strong suggest you email the hotel of your choice and ask them directly...."do you charge for overnight joiners"?

If you get a "no, we not charge".....print that email and take it along with you for backup if you run across any problems.

I was a bit uneasy about asking this a long time ago.....but the hotel reception/office has heard it all before ok?

I just stayed 9 nights at Mercure and they never once tried to charge me any joiner fee. In fact all the staff were very friendly to my "joiners" and the girls loved the hotel.

There is a sign at the pool saying fee of 300bt for non-guests to use the pool, but again my girl and I went swimming no problems as she had already registered her ID.

Oh yeah, I was told there was a joiner fee if I brought back more than one girl...which luckily I have out of my system after 4 trips to Patts
