Flowers shoved in your face, Snakes, monkeys, aggressive ladyboys, little kids selling crap at 2am, Marine Plaza looking like skid row....

Are you still having a romance with Walking Street or have you found greener pastures?

Do you feel walking from one end to the other is becoming more hassle than pleasure? Have you ever walked along 2nd road to avoid the hassles?

I can take it in doses.

It is what it is.

The Times Square of Pattaya (before Giuliani fucked it up).

It's not like you can't go somewhere else if you're tired of it.

Anyway, there are lots of fun places there.

Giuliani fucked Times Square up

What by improving it and making it safer?

Yep. Once upon a time, Times Square was degenerate beyond all belief. There must have been 80 hookers per square meter. Well, maybe not quite that many, but it was a sight to behold. When I first moved to NYC in the mid 70s I had a car for a few weeks until I got rid of it. Anyway, I went driving around Manhattan one night, just to check out the 3AM activities. Times Square had the most hookers I'd ever seen in one place in my life. Maybe 50 per block. Pimpmobiles everywhere. It was one of those places that was wild and crazy, 24/7.

And then they decided to "clean it up." At this point, it might as well be Disneyland. What fun is that?
