Cats Corner - Fa Cup Semi-final 10pm Sun. 19th April

Recommended Posts

As you are probably aware, FA Cup matches and England Internationals are not being screened in Thailand. I am pleased to report that Cats Corner will be one of a handful of bars in Pattaya that will be presenting the FA Cup Semi-final, Manchester United -v- Everton at 10pm (2200) Sunday, 19th April 2009.

If you are into Formula 1, the fun starts at 3pm the same day with the Chinese G.P. We are able to present UK BBC full coverage, without those annoying advert breaks on Thai TV (UBC). F1 qualifying 2pm Saturday 18th April 2009.

Thanks to my technical advisors (you know who you are!) for enabling Cats Corner to screen all sporting events of note, including England Internationals, FA Cup matches, Formula 1, all Cricket and Rugby Union......the list goes on.

Man U should be up for that match since they will be out of the Champion's League already.I'll be there.

Man U have given me kittens every time they play. I have a sneaking feeling they will be up for the return leg in Porto. But whatever, the semi, I'm sure, will be entertaining. Hope to see you on the night.

Thanks for that - but very strange, why didn't TrueVisions screen all the previous rounds?

But of course - this is Thailand!!

Something to do with whoever bought the rights to the distribution was asking too much cash ..... more than True was prepared to pay for the earlier rounds. Or something along those lines.

A good couple of weeks sport coming up ........ looking forward to it. :ang2

Both semi-finals are being advertised incessantly on True. :D

I have phoned TrueVisions - on Channel 61.

However, if you have any doubts about what TrueVisions say, come to my bar to watch both semis. I have the Indosnesian version of ESPNSTAR which has screened all the FA Cup and England Internationals.
