Dubai Transit Hotel

After visiting Pats in November our return leg has a 8 hr layover at Dubai , we wondered if anyone had used the transit hotel at the airport "international" think it is called !

Just like a normal airport hotel anywhere. Food was quite nice and staff friendly. Hotel is a short bus/taxi ride away from everything but not really a hassle. Couldn't find bar in Emirates hotel but walked across courtyard to adjacent hotel and there was a small bar in it.

 

Went to shopping centre in Taxi...no worries, leaving however is a nightmare. Q for taxi to leave centre is horrendous with lots of young Q bunkers. People are rude and unfriendly IMHO.

 

It was nice to break up the journey with a few beers and a kip.
