Has anyone recently stayed at the WindyInn. Did the search but the last posts

are all from 2002-2003. Any info would be appreciated

I stayed there for a week in 2002. It's pretty quiet down at that end of Walking Street. Depending on the price, I might stay there again. I think, though, there be be better values around.

As far as I know, it's girl friendly.

I stayed in one of the front rooms on the top floor. The view was great. The air conditioning worked OK and the water was OK. The bed was two smaller beds pushed together. Nothing special. When I stayed there, there was no phone in the room. The TV was a small 13" model. The cleaning staff was OK. There's no elevator. The safe was at reception. The pool across the street had a bar and food. The food was good. I paid 1250 baht a day and stayed there for a week before moving to the Sabai Lodge, which, at the time, was only 850 a day and a better deal, I thought.
