My friend sent me details about this place ,looks fantastic.

Has anybody ever stopped here?

My concern is it is too far away from areas I like ,Soi LK ,Walking Street ,Soi 8

Wonder if it is on a baht bus run area .

Price of the rooms look very good for the standard of rooms ,but would not like if to far away from the action

Hi Dr Mick,

yes the apartments do look nice. I notice you mentioned them in an earlier post.

Perhaps one of the "locals" on here can enlighten us all. Maybe the location is on Pattaya Photo Guide ?

Their website could do with a "We are here link".

Address on the site is this "South Pattaya Road - Soi Day & Night 2 - 20/57 Moo10 - Nongprue - Pattaya-City - 20150 Chonburi – Thailand"

Awaiting enlightenment !

Hi guys,

Soi Day Night 2 is(i think) the Soi that goes down the side of Tukcom on South Pat rd.

Therefore making it 2 mins from a baht bus route, but only 5 mins walk from walking st.

The area is also in or very close to what some people call the Arab quarter and is also known to be a popular gay area.

Very "tastfully" furnished and decorated - essentially a gay place. Also. if walking back at night, guys outside the many "boy's massage parlours" will wave their willy at you! If thats ok with you, go for it. Location is very central.

BM Carbine stayed there for a while and was very happy. There are also some positive reports on Addicts.

It is indeed 5 mins walk from WS and just across the road from Soi Bakhow (spelling). It's a few mins from Friendship supermarket.

BM Carbine says that the location being "quite gay" is not a major problem. If you drop any money just kick it along until you hit the main street

There are, from what I hear, some very nice little European style restaurants in the area.

The one thing I learned while I was in San Francisco is that gays open and operate the best restaurants around.

Hi All

I did make some enquiries with this place. They did tell me they are guest friendly but the big minus was they did not have a pool but said you could use the pool at Tony's which must be near by.

The old faithful residence gardens though has come to the party with a good monthly rate including power water and daily maid service, I just wish their beds were a little softer.

36000 Baht, my trip is from the 20th Oct through to 18th Nov the rack rate is 40000 to 31 oct then 45000 from 1st Nov so I am happy with that. They are guest friendly and far enough from town to get a good nights sleep. It's my third time at the RG and I am comfortable there. They dont ask for a deposit up front just give them the credit card when you leave and all done and dusted.

Cheers

Thanks - yes that is a fair discount on the 30*1450 = 43500 it would be on the FLB rate

I have stayed there a few times too and also enjoy it

Yes. some decent places to eat, including one French bistro place which regularly get smentions in the daily specials write ups. Le petit ???? I've forgotten the name sorry.

Wouldn't stay there. Too much chance of bumping into Colov and it is definately the poofs paradise around there.
