Wanted - second hand video camera

I have a need for a second hand video camera to hook up to an outside TV showing the FLB band area.

 

It needs to have a tripod mount (screw hole for a tripod) which most do, TV out cable interface. Very basic functionality.

 

I don't care what media it records on, since it will only be used to send images to the outside TV, and not to record.

 

It has to have the capability to turn off the status display on the output monitor (no battery symbol, space used, and other information that they like to put in the LCD portion of the camera).

 

It also has to have a way to defeat the standby timeout or switch off feature, since I want to leave it on for hours at a time.

 

I know some of you have upgraded your video cameras, so if you have one just sitting around, I'd be willing to pay a second hand price for it if it suits my needs.

As a general rule most small lens consumer camcorders are rubbish in low light. This is what seperates the more expensive pro-sumer cams like the old vx2000.

 

I have seen a few small camcorders setup in various bars so ther must be afew models that can switch off the standby mode but id be more tempted to install a high-end cctv(security type) cam-only style. There are good quality models out there.
