I am using the Windows Firewall, Microsoft Security Essentials and Advanced System Care.

I'm on Win 7 Enterprise

do those apps run in 64-bit mode ?

I've been trying to find a 64-bit A/V software & even the ones who claim to be 64-bit run in 32-bit mode

AVG I've left running, for at least least some protection, but still looking for a true 54-bit app

 

even Norton ran in 32-bit mode

Fair enough, heh. But you know what? You need a system that gives YOU security. There's no such thing as a secure computer unless, as a friend says, it has been smashed to bits, embedded in cement and thrown overboard over a deep ocean trench. So you need something that makes you feel good while provding the best security you can. Some people double-glaze their windows, some people put bars over them, some people do both and some people hire an armed guard.

 

It really IS up to you.
