For Hiding ip, its never problem your IP process.. I too hide my IP.. Hiding Ip by software is the best process.. also i checkout my Ip address process from here http://www.whoisxy.com/ @ free of costs.. In this site we can get DNS query, Ping search, Smart whois search etc.,
