I just took advantage of this for a SGN-BKK flight next February. But looked at HKT-BKK-SGN to get there and it was at regular prices. Does anyone know the Air Asia history on sales? Are they likely to put those routes on sale again later this year? HKT-BKK-SGN is not cheap for two with oversize bags and advance seat selection. Should I buy now or wait and hope for another sale???

They do have regular sales, provided you are signed up for their Red Alert you should get advance warning.

You may want to check alternatives such as HKT-KUL-SGN. Sometimes it's worth it to go through the KL hub rather than BKK.

I tried that, Tom, and it's more expensive. You seem to be the Board airline expert. Do you think I should await another seat sale or book now? Is another sale for flights next Feb likely or not?

There will be more sales between now and then but I,for one,can't wait t hear what the "Board airline expert" has to say.He's just someone here with an opinion,like the rest of us.As mentioned earlier,get on their e-mail list and you'll be good to go.
