when i try to copy pastrys avatar on this lap top it doesn't move but did on my old one.????the same with villas homer simpson juggling glow sticks. any ideas as to why...

Right click it. Save As. Make sure you give it a filename of dot-GIF. Test it on your disk, e.g. load it in your browser. If it works, then you can upload that file as your avatar.
