Did www.skype.com stop honoring credit cards in the USA?

All the sudden I no longer have skype credit and my cc company says there isn't even an attempt to access the card. I've used skype a bunch. This is really from left field.

 

 

 

 

Now they want Western Union, PayPal, personal check or similar forms of payment.

i use paypal get higher limit

 

have had trouble with skype before them blocking me for no reason just 1 phone call fixes it

Yeah i just learned today about the spending limit available on skype. Never seen a business that limits spending on its product. Strange...

 

What 1 phone call are you talking about?

Mine's linked to my PayPal account, which in turn links to my debit card. I have it set up to automatically re-charge my Skype account when the balance drops below 2 dollars. Never had a problem with it.
