Not what I'd call a bargain especially when you fly past LOS then have to fly back.

No you don't fly past LOS. KL is south of LOS. Depending on the time you get into KL on the return. Eleven hour layover gives you more then enough time to travel into KL for a bit of fun on the way back.

The flight from London to KL is longer than that to BKK so you are flying beyond LOS and having to fly back. Simple really.

Good service. Can not be compared with Singapore Airlines but MA is a good airline...

The KL airport too is an experience. Many don't like the train ride to collect baggage and I guess you don't have to do it, but to me it's a part of the airport experience...

He's flying from UK, not Australia. This is the typical flight path from UK to KL and you fly past LOS all the way from Ranong to Satun.

The flights go over Northern India, Burmah (Mouths of the Irrawaddy, Cox's Bazaar and Tavoy), there is a good chance you will cross Thailand to get to KL, or stay west to avoid paying for the privilege. You might get a better idea if you looked at a globe rather than a map. In fact, if you flew from Germany on Lufthansa, the Frankfurt flight to KL flight stops off in Bangkok for an hour, en-route!

Thank you. A flight to KL is longer than a flight to BKK so, therefore, you fly beyond your destination and have to fly back.

OK. I see your point and I now understand what the guy was alluding too.

That's not what the guy wrote. He said you fly past LOS then back. Your flight path shows you fly along the coast of LOS into KL. Not past LOS then back.

It's exactly what the guy wrote.
