There are many QBs capable of winning a Super Bowl if surrounded by the right people and some of the greats when not surrounded by the right people haven't made it.

 

Yes, by that measure, you can't deny the greatness of Trent Dilfer or the awesomeness of Doug Williams. Both better than Marino. By that measure.

A really good team can win it all with a QB like Dilfer as long as he (and they) don't make mistakes.

A great QB can take a lesser team to the heights through will and leadership.

Tonight, I think Vick demonstrated he is playing better than Eli Manning. Close game, but Vick was better in the clutch, when it counted. Eli, not handling the ball well, 2 INTs and a costly fumble at the end of the game.
