IS the Tequila Reef on Soi 7 still open?

Someone told me that they had closed the Tequila Reef on Soi 7...

 

Can that be true?  Someone please advise.

I had a good dinner there 10 Feb.

It was yet open when last visited 12feb.

 

Have to admit the margaritas were always very tasty as well the choice of

 

dishes and nice looking help!

 

Though believe relative to Thai standards the place was overpriced!

 

Anxious to hear if has indeed close or not !

 

Would think if was due to the lack of busines that the owner would try

 

offering happy hr prices and or dinner/lunch specials.

 

I know I always vsit once or thrice when in town! Will have to wait to see

 

if is true or not! Shall be returning this May approx 45 days to go

Just ate there on the 17th where I met up for the first time with the infamous jimmybb and his sweet TG. Jimmy had just finished getting a fitting at the tailors for a custom fitted cheesehead.

I spoke to Gary from the Alamo bar, and I asked him about the Tequila Reef being closed, he said as of Mar 23 it was open. It got closed down for one day because it sold alcohol on election day.

Yes, I met up with Emil and his lovely tg named Sakorn, and a nice dinner we had. Too bad the tilac that accompanied me was a total bust: I did enjoy shooting the shit with Kuhn Emil mak mak. He is a good man and lends further proof that this forum can unite like -minded punters for some good times. That is for me all that this board is about. Rgds, Jimmy
