As qouted in the BKK Post - there is an entertainment bill passing through their government and will be ready for the King to sign on the 22nd of Jan. Has anyone gotten any updates on this!!

The gist of the debate was even most the politicians thought it was a stupid idea,  it would harm tourism, + a one sizee fits all law was not the answer.  Basically they were told to go back and start again, so nothing likely to happen anytime soon in respect to mandated early closing...... if ever.  Cheers

new laws on bars to be voted very soon,the main points are

1,50,000bt 2 registar bars

2,bars opening times limited 6pm opening 12midnight clossing.
