Sandy spring on Soi 13 is guest friendly as are all the other Spring hotels in the group.

No problem taking 1 lady back but can be charged for 2 or more ladies.

You should have posted this in the Hotels section and i would guess it will be moved.

There is a post in the hotels section about the membership scheme too B)

I did a splurge and got the nice room

AC was ice cold

Was very big, great view of the ocean, nice tub, seperate shower, great patio with chairs/table, big sofa, 2 TV and nice little kitchen area

Bed was rock hard (King Size and seperated from living room)

No problems taking 1 lady back, ID is required and left at desk

WiFi had some issues, they had to resolve it for me

I have only done the sandy spring at christmas for the last two years, i had a seaview suite which is great for the location, size and view but the room can best

be described as "sparse" but has an in room safe which only suites seem to get.

For the peak Xmas season i paid 3300baht per night which has now gone up to 3600 for this year so i have decided to try the Residence garden which i have booked

at a peak season rate of 1800 baht, so that is saving me 1800 baht per night which will pay for the extra transport costs to and from the hotel.

I have always booked it through these people http://www.scandibar.com/hotel/sandy/ as they don't require up from credit card details which the hotel seem to want.

Sandy Springs is guest friendly.

Sandy Springs has satisfied my hotel needs for many years. The seaview deluxe has allowed me to view sunsets from the balcony and many afternoon delights.

Whenever I've returned alone, the ladies at the counter ask if I'm alright. They get concerned when you DON'T go to your room without a girl.

That all said, I am a bit dismayed that they have raised their prices by around 500 baht for the seaview deluxe. I don't know if they are still on my value bang for the buck radar. Amenities, friendliness, and all around comfort though is very good.
