Internet connection near Sandy Springs?

There seems to be no connection at the S.S. hotel.  Does antone know if there is one near I can hook up my laptop to or use one of there computers? I will need to access internet for a few reasons, if you know of any please help.  Thank you

I don't know what you consider near, but there are many internet shops on 2nd Rd, I've used one near the Royal Garden Mall at 1 baht a minute.  Even cheaper at 1/2 baht a minute if you want to walk over to Soi Buakaow.

The closest one with reasonable speed is on the second floor of the Royal Garden Plaza.  I used it when I stayed at Sandy Spring.  Its a 5 minute walk away.  The only problem is mall hours so it doesn't open until 11.  There are several on Second Road but a couple I tried were slower.  There's also a 24 hour one on Beach Road near the intersection with Central Road.

Wrong the best one near Sandy is at the top of Soi 13 , next to the chemist that sells Cialis.

256 ADSL and 1.5baht a minute and open till 12 midnight at least.

I know the chemist who sells Cialis so well...how did I miss the internet place?  Priorities, I guess!

 

If you go in the other direction  on Second Road there is an internet cafe that also has massage upstairs.

 

So, one direction for massage, the other for Cialis and both for an internet cafe.  What more could you want?

If I was you I will walk until Soi 11, not far from Soi 13 of S.S.

You will then take on the left the very big free alley linking 2nd road to beach road.

At the start of this alley, on the rigth, are a few shops.

The last one, with black window and door is THE place:

 

Adsl 512, 1 baht/minute, Air cond, Small private cabines, Lcd display, and a very helpfull lady managing this  :)

 

I made all my connexions from there last 2 weeks. Good place
