Oh, it couldn't be simpler!:clap2

Just grab the address bar at the youtube video you want to show...not the SHARE button results...just the address of the video.

Copy that into the post, and the forum software automatically detects it as a youtube video and displays it.

There is also another way

Copy the URL link from the Youtube link and hit the last box on the top left (insert media) on the reply page of this forum, and paste in the box after you have cleared the content,

You want to copy the YouTube URL including the "?" question mark and assorted letters-digits after it. But ONLY up to any "&" and following material that you often find.

Simple paste it into the text of your post, and the board will turn it into a video preview.

youtube1.jpg

Remove the ampersand and anythng following. Paste this:

http :// www. youtube.com/ watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ &feature=player_embedded#!

Get this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

That seems laborious Joe.

I just click the share button...under the video....

The link pops up already highlighted, copy and paste it ito the posting box...( C. .. P) done, no editing involved.

I was handicapped though. I had actually read the thread, to wit:

Yeah, me too!

I suspect the Invision software might be getting easier to use.

Okay thanks, managed to do it just by clicking the share button and copy and paste to the reply window.

Could have sworn I tried that before. Note to Self.... ease up on the reefers.

Almost certain that you did try it, and almost certain that it did not work back then. As MM says, technological advances in your lifetime.

Where would be be without them?

Still trying to get by with an iPhone 3 and cutting off the YouTube URLs halfway, that's where! Talk about hardship!
