Dont use my phone much as i make most calls on my pc so dont top up much.I have had the same number now for 10 years so i dont want the sim to close but it means i have to keep topping up when i dont want to just to keep it open.Is there any way to increase the validity time on 1-2-call?I put 100bt on and it only lasts about 2 weeks.

Thanks

P.S

If i change to Dtac simple you can get 1 years validity with the first top up.

Does anyone know if you can carry your old number over to Dtac?

Thanks Again

Officially you can cary your number but I heard hard stories...

A hint: The girls phone a lot, so their time balance always full... you can ask her to call *140 and transfer validity to your number... :thumbup I did it some times without any probs...

Number portability is available to all operators all over the world but they have to pay licencing and software fees to the vendor.( NSN, Ericsson, ZTE , Huawei etc)which some don't have the money for....They also must have back to back licensing agreements with other local operators...Given that DTAC ( Telenor)are in legal dispute regarding the issue of the 3G licence.... by my old mate Jon Eddy (NOT :wanker )......I doubt VERY much that number portability will be available in Thailand for a long time on any worthwhile 3G or LTE network.. :angry2
