Advice on Turkish airlines

Recommended Posts

Looking at flights for next June and Turkish coming up cheapest at £550

Was wondering can anyone tell me if they are worth a try, normally the cheapest is the best option for me as I like to spend more on the holiday. Now that wasn't a bad way of thinking when the cheapest airlines were emirates and Etihad but they are coming in at over £700

What are your thoughts please

June is low season for Thailand so I think if you shop around you will find a direct flight for close to £550.

With regards Turkish Airlines, well I personally wouldn't recommend anything Turkish!

I used Turkisk airlines 3 times and found them excellent.

Just because you pay less does not mean you are getting inferior quality or service.

Agree, very good in the air, however the field staff are rude with bad attitude...

Usually use them each time I go to Thailand. Always found them excellent. Clean planes, with video on the back of each seat. The only gripe I have is that there isn't much leg room, but usually the planes aren't full so you can spread out.

I have been using Turkish for three years now between Bangkok and Baku with a few side trips to belgium, they are very good, IFE mostly upgraded on all planes, food is good. I fly every month with them and do not have any complaints, they have just refurbished the lounge in Instanbul and is excellent, there is even a pool table in it.

Do you have bad memories about " Turkish " ??

I ve used TK many times for long distances and never had problem. They also been awarded for food quality this year.

My only concern , the hostsess are not pretty like Emirates and they don'tlike to serve long hours.
