need to by memory cards for digital camera

Recommended Posts

fruitti88,

I have checked the prices in Bangkok at Pantip Plaza, and find they are the same or a little highter than the states. Also they are not the 'Olympus' brand, but a clone like the 'sandisk' smartmedia cards.

I find the best prices in the states on ebay.

If you plan upon taking lots of  photos think about buying an image tank instead of the cards. That way you just download the card and use  it over again. For the cost of a couple of memory cards you can purchase a three to five gig tank and store thousands of images. I have a 40-gig image tank but each picture I shoot is about 15 meg so I use a lot of space.

I don't know where you're from but if you're from the UK or western Europe this place is the cheapest I've found anywhere for digital memory media .

http://www.7dayshop.com

They have a current offer of 3 128 Mb compactflash cards for £51.99 . I looked in Thailand & the cheapest I could find was around £30 for a 64 Mb card ! I've been using 7dayshop cards for a while & I've never had a problem with them . They've also just launched a 1 gigabyte card costing £180 . I've no connection with this website , I've just been shopping with them for a while . The only disadvantage with them is that it can sometimes take a while for delivery .
