Places to take the trouble and strife !!

Having now been to Pattaya for 3 times in the last 6 months, the misses said that she wants to come along with the kids for a week ....I can then go for two and tag my weeks " golfing" on the end of it!! I have said that she won't like it and it will be too hot.  But she wants to see the place !!

 

Where would anyone recommend staying so I can keep her out of the main area, which will mean I can keep coming over on my "golfing trips". ???

 

Having not really been to Jomtien, would this be OK for a week, and what hotels would you recommend !!

Why in god`s name did you tell here that you where comming to Pattaya in the first place ???

You could have just told her Hua Hin  ;D

 

Take her to Hua Hin would be my suggestion. If not, there is plenty of hotels in Jomtien which you can find on the net.

I recommend Jomtien Thani or Cosy Beach.

 

Let me know if you decide to go to Hua Hin and I`ll give you a couple of pointers on golf courses and hotels.

Hmmm...sounds like a trip to Koh Samet might be just the ticket.  Its a 3 or 4 hour mini bus ride from Pattaya and then a 1 hour boat ride to the island.  Its a "NICE" resort...

I've only been once but it was great!  I think it would be perfect for a family outing.  I made the connections through Anna at the AA hotel... but I'm sure they could all arrange it.  Hope it works out so you can get back to your golf schwing...

Why take her and the kids someplace nice?  Won't they just want to come back with you again?  Take them to Bangkok, make sure they get plenty of smog, stuck in a traffic jam for two hours and move one block and show them a few of the sites.  When they say the place is like hell and what do you see in it just say the golf is very good but the rest sucks.  Wife and kids never to be heard from again.
