There is a large musical instrument shop on Sukhumvit, it would be on your left as you head south just before Threpasit junction.

There is a good guitar shop near my house, opposite BKK Hospital other side of Sukhomvit. Soi Nong Yai, go along this soi, turn right into soi 6 and its just there on your right. Very nice people and they will assist with lessons if you want them to
