For the guys who like a good cold glass of draft beer. A mile or two by Baht bus is of no consequence. Add in good pub grub served by the Pattaya Beer Garden. What's not to like?

Getting a baht bus these days isn't like it used to be. I end up on motorcycles more often than not. Too often it is like they are ridiculing you slowing down, or stopping, only to drive off before you get there. Only ones that stop are packed........ As I rode on the back of a bike down second Rd at 2am Friday we passed a mile of empty parked up baht buses choking up the roads. Most on the move seem to be empty searching for a Russian family in need of a ride to The Ambassador I guess.

PBG does pub-grub?

Not only do they do good pub grub. Pete offers an extensive menu of good food at a reasonable price. The only meal I haven't eaten there is breakfast. I plan on rectifying this next month when I'm back in Pattaya.

Am a Pats vet but have never been a beerbar person. Normally I spend my evenings in the GOGO's for the eye candy then prowl for FL's for my gratification. I am now thinking that it's time for me to change my evil ways.

I am unwilling to put up with the expense & the shit attitudes of GG girls. I've had so many disappoinments with FL's that I am gunshy of further dealings with them.

So, I think that my best avenue is to explore beerbars for BF's. During my next trip I shall probably reside on Soi Lengkee. Draught beer is my drink-of-choice.

I would appreciate recommendations of BB's in the Lengkee, Diana, LK Metro area that offer draught beer & worthwhile BG's. MANY THANX!

I am not sure if they have a tap, but have you tried the Buffalo Bar? I think it is close to where you are staying and I used to have some good times there.

That may be your opinion, but the OP was asking for a good spot around his hotel. Some people like to have a local and don't feel like the hassle of making a trip and then having also to return on baht buses. If he gets on at Second he's going all the way about the dolphin roundabout and dealing with Beach Road. Sitting on a baht bus on Beach Road on a busy night isn't my idea of fun, but I digress, its all about you. Carry on.

Best draft beer in South Pattaya can be found at Lucky Stars Bar at the corner Soi8/Beach road. If served cold, which is done most times.

If the bargirls there are "worthwile" is sort of defintion and personal preferences :bhappy

Update

The draft beer there is still cold, but thin and tasteless :sosad
