Cheap flights out of Australia

I notice a lot of comments on here that flights are going up in other country's. In Australia at least on budget airlines i have been getting good deals.

 

In Sept first time flying with Air Asia from Australia booked back in Dec last year.

 

Gold coast - Kuala Lumpur- Bangkok return $600 flight and domestic Townsville to Brisbane $280 return. For 1 person.

 

Booked last month because some one pissed me off, flying next Feb for 7 days in Thailand. Jetstars 2 for 1 sale.

 

Melbourne to Bangkok return $880 for 2 and Domestic Townsville to Melbourne return $440 For 2 people.

 

Was planing a trip with some family members next April wasn't planing to book till Xmas then Air Asia had there birthday sale. Got all 4 people booked.

 

Gold Coast - Kuala Lumpur - Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai - Bangkok (Pattaya) - Kuala Lumpur- Gold Coast $465 each

 

Then Virgin put flights for 2013 on Special so got the domestic Townsville to Brisbane return $197 each

 

The only problem for us is that we have to fly South to go North and domestic flights don't mach up with international flights so we have alot traveling/waiting time.

 

Not worried about booking so far in advanced. Have insurance on all of them and can change date and name for small fee just can't get a refund.
