Sounds like Mum Aroi to me.

Stopped even trying to go there at weekends, last time I was seated on the outer edges and poorly served. They preferred attending the large parties. There are several seafood restaurants on that stretch of coast going as far as the 36 junction, but I like a scruffier place on Sukhumvit itself.
