Asian Package Hotel, Avoid, Why?

I'm trying to figure out why guys are so negative on Asian package hotels.

 

I stayed at the Pattaya Park Hotel in Jomtiem, lots of asian tourist there. Other then the elevator stopping at every floor to let people off, hotel was fine.

                  Ever get caught in the middle, when the tour group is coming through..?  Most of them have there blinders on and don't really care that your standing right there..

 

I was recently "trying" to get something to eat at the mall, when a tour group came through, forget that I was standing there, patiently waiting my "turn" to order.  They just disregard manners and "ease" there way in front of you. It did piss me off, but TIT and I just went to another place to get something else. Dealing with that on a daily basis, could make your hotel rather unpleasent..

I use to stay at the Pattaya centre hotel as you know its a chinese/korean tour groups stop.

never found the tour groups to worry me as i was getting home long after they were asleep (alone  [smiley=teeth.gif])and they would be out of the place when i woke up.

very rarely did i run into them around the place so they never affected my stay.

I think people mean Chinese package tourist when being negative.

Some good and bad experience with them.

In Pattaya (Pattaya Centre Hotel) they behaved like idiots, while in Bangkok once, they were cool, even started a conversation in English.

Think some of them are totally lost and needs to be told when to pee and shit, while others do the package deal to save money and will survive without the guy in front with the flag.
