Pattaya Beach trees trimmed to improve safety

Recommended Posts

Looks like the whole tree got trimmed to ground level in one picture.

The loss of shade is a negative, but most of the critters there are night-time ones anyhow.

Do the cameras work? Are they maintained? Does anyone monitor? Or is this just another Pattaya bull-shit exercise? Hmmm. I wonder if the plod would allow me into their central monitoring station.

I used to run that kind of operation. Among other things.

Had a wander this morning....a huge crane was helping in the operation, chainsaws buzzing and a crew carting away some of the debris. A couple of beach vendors joined in the clean up,as access to their earning zone was temporarily blocked off.

This is more than a trim.....there's some serious tree-felling going on.....

Be careful if you jaywalk across Sukhumvit Road. Filling these holes would improve safety .The view of the pattaya mail seems to be it would never have happened if she hadn't been jaywalking. so i guess the moral of the story is stay on the beaten path. :clueless . http://www.pattayamail.com/localnews/jaywalking-russian-steps-in-hole-blames-city-21260?ref=pmci

I am often waiting at the lights at Sukhumvit/Klang and pedestrians try to cross, but it certainly isn't easy for them.

There is an elevated crossover a little North of there but there aren't many of them.

She certainly has a point. pedestrians are forced onto the road by various pavement deficiencies and obstructions all over town.....

WTF is Jay walking? Is that some kind of stupid fucking law that says you have to cross the road only in designated areas? For sheep perhaps? Maybe Jay Birds?

I would post MJ Moon Walking but I'm too lazy to find a you tube video,

Are you allowed to Moon Walk across Suk or is that against the law too/
