Emirates/Easyjet

Yep, got the same email from Skywards as well this morning. Still have to pay taxes, luggage and any other charges that easy jet decide to charge on, so at the end of the day, is it worth spending your hard earned airmiles on a "low" cost flight??

I might use Emirates, but Easy Jet...... don't really do these hops to obscure European airports.

As someone else sad Easyjet pricing is normally 50 cents for the flight plus $250 for the add-ons, +$20 to take a dump on the plane.

I almost spat my tea out when I saw that these 2 airlines were working together.

Talk about beauty and the beast!

Almost the same as Emirates and Qantas working together....lol

The email says "From 6 November 2012, Skywards members can pay for their flight INCLUSIVE of taxes, charges and airport fees"

but yes, i guess speedy boarding and baggage will be extra, I only fly long haul once per year and fly short haul to Spain/Portugal 6 or 7 times per year and i find easyjet not bad, no other way to use my Skywards miles so i might try this.

To be honest I have been put off Air Asia now since they moved to Don Muang...got used to the easy access to the Swampy Airport.

My taxi driver pointed out the new fencing on Highway 7 recently, East/South of where it becomes a Toll road, and said the plan is to make the whole length a toll-way to Pattaya.

a real shitter when that happened as using AA at swampy made connection to other Thai destinations so much easier if you didn't want to stay in Bangkok upon landing.

has anyone tried the bus service yet which connects Swampy to DM?
