Sunshine Vista-Soi 3

Anybody have recent information on Construction noise pollution in the vicinity of this hotel/appartment set up on Soi 3 ?

Opinions on likely state of play for the noise factor come February, would also be appreciated. 8)

The hotel that was under construction behind it on Soi 4, is now complete.  Another hotel also under construction on Soi 4 about 80 meters from the new one is almost finished and should be done by February.

Stayed here about 2 weeks, there is 3 construction sites in the near vicinty ,the one on soi 4 is complete and the "big ship " style hotel should be finished anyday now .

The apartment i stayed in faced a large building site which like Emil said  shoulf be finished in feb .

I am booked in for 6 weeks from end of November to early January…. 14 days and counting  ;D  ;D

 

I have not stayed, but looked at the hotel on my last visit and the rooms and pool looked great for the cost.

 

Can you tell me whether I should be seeking a particular side or view of the building to escape the construction and Beer Bar noise from 2nd road, I did book a high floor facing Beach Road??

 

Or any other pointers you may have??

Might get a chance to check it out for myself, on a flying visit next month, if I decide to take up a short contract in Rangoon.

The only building site with any major noise is the construction on Soi 3 near Beach Rd.  It's the stern of the new Cruise Ship hotel that was recently completed.  The ohter construction that is taking place on this expansion project is nearly complete, mostly landscaping and interior work.
