Sea Me Spring Too reviews.........

Recommended Posts

Any new reviews on SEA ME SPRING TOO hotel on Soi 10? Are the rooms value for money? How does it compare to Sea Me Spring next door, pretty much the same?

And the important question.....is construction near this hotel finally done? Thanks!

Pretty much the same but I prefer Sea Me Spring Too. WiFi is slightly better and so is the pool and the view. Don't know about the construction but didn't bother me the last time I was there and that was in March. Posted some pics of the place somewhere...

Hi Patna, thanks for the link and review. When you say the construction noise did not bother you is that because there wasn't much noise or because you just don't care about noise? Would the average tourist be concerned about the noise? Do you know or have a guess when the construction in that area will be completed? It seems like it has been going on forever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also what do you mean by there is a heavy penalty for cancellations? And I have never heard of a hotel charging for changing dates!! Did you book directly with hotel or a middleman? Thanks!!

I just stayed at the SeaMeSpring on the 6th floor directly across from the construction (2 -24 May). The noise wasn't too bad and only in the daytime 9-6. The noise wasn't bad at all, just some loud banging once in a while. I slept during the day and went out at night and my stay was fine. SMS2 probably would only be affected with the rooms on the Soi 10 side.

I booked through Agoda. I believe the penalty depends on the place, not the agency. Somebody in the other thread said that agoda works with a 25% margin but in my experience it is still cheaper than at the reception. Crazy, I know. When I wanted to extend my stay and tried to negotiate the price, the girl gave me a 200 baht higher figure than agoda. Even she suggested (very unprofessional, though) to go through agoda, because it's cheaper. Makes no sense but true. They must recieve a huge break in order to make profit. So I went up to my room and made a booking online.

As for the noise, I'm a light sleeper and very sensitive to it but it didn't really bother me, there was very little coming through the balcony door and as Snake said, only between 9 and something.

I wrote an email to Sea Me Spring Too about the construction noise and they informed me that in November the construction will still be ongoing so at least they are honest about that.

You can also get cheaper rates by going direct with hotel and buying membership for 350 baht which gives discount of 300 baht per night.

  • 4 weeks later...

The construction will apparently be of two buildings one a 5 storey and the other an 8 storey building and won't be finished until next year. The new hotel will be called SC Palace.

They reply to emails but dont expect a prompt reply.

What views do you get out of the different rooms? The Seaview rooms are obviously facing the ocean ( I presume). But what about the Me Deluxe room, what is the view of?? Thanks!
