Glad to know that I was not the only one that didn't understand his post.  BigD since your staying for 7 weeks this trip have you checked out places that cater to long term travelers.  When I was there last month I noticed an ad for Nova Park (Believe they're with Nova Lodge) for 12,000 baht/month.  The place looked like an apartment and is located just north of Central Rd and a few hundred meters off 2nd Rd.
