Mercure or Other Family Friendly Hotels

Having to consider another alternative due to building work at the Areca for Feb 14.

 

I like the Areca because

 

Location

Decent size rooms for a family of 3

Nice Pools

Beer and food prices at pool

Less than 2500 bht per night

 

Looking at Mercure any ideas on whether the Mercure ticks the above boxes. Or any other ideas dont reallt want to go any further north then Tops

How about south?

 

Residence Garden has large rooms and with the FLB rate of 1450 a good deal.

Getting into town is not much of an issues as the baht buses run down the road regularly. Getting back means a switch at 2nd and south pattaya into one of the buses that line up by the school.

We like suites and the location is great as my daughter likes to go to Pattaya park so right in the middle is fine we have probably driven past it dozens of times going there.

 

 

Contacted hotel and they are not over the top with the extra bed either.

Whats best arrangements for breakfast eat at hotel or jump baht bus into the centre. ?
