Options for watching the footie in Pattaya nowadays

Probably one for the expats ... what do you need to watch live football in Pattaya nowadays? I know that CTH does the EPL, but what about the Champions League, FA Cup, La Liga, Bundesliga, Thai Premier League etc? What about the World Cup next year? Who has the broadcasting rights for that?

His only "cable channel" is most likely Sophon Cable. I imagine it's quite difficult to "manage without one of the cable channels" if he only has one to start with.

I answered your question Jacko.I wanted to keep TRUE mainly because of having time to check CTH,as u know its quite new and the cable version has more channels,so when its out i may go CTH cable and get rid of true,if channels are duplicated.No way could i live here and just have sophon,not much to offer,but i have this in living room and main bedroom,mainly for my partner to watch,as i watch me footie.

I did reduce my True account from Platinum to gold,so i am saving approx 600 baht a month,and my CTH is 900 approx,so not a problem financialy.If i didnt like footie i wouldnt have CTH.Why dont u get rid of your two dishes?????

Correct,but i wasnt trying to be flippant.Maybe true have cable in other parts of Thailand,I actualy meant that the Truevision i have is SAT not CABLE
