Hi all,

I will stay in Bankok for 1 week for first time in Mandarin Hotel. I'm looking for your advice and previous experiences such as hotel location, guest policy,  etc.

It`s locaded just across the street from Patpong, so location vise it`s good....BUT

 

There is a 600 Bath joiner fee ( unless you book a DBL room ). Pink / light blue wall to wall carpet in the rooms ( not very nice IMHO ).

The hotel has a karaoke, but no tg`s last time I was there.

The rate at this hotel has dropped like a stone from thin air in the last few years and is now about 700-800 Bath I think. I would stay away from this place and shop around for another one.

Once again I have to agree with Baz ;D ;D, Nana is the place.  The last time I didn't even make it out the door before I met this hottie. ;D ;D  I only stay at the Nana if I am getting late, like when I fly NWA.  But usually I fly Eva and get in at 11am.  I've never been disapointed  with the Nana, and that is coming from a guy who works at one the nicest hotel/casinos in Las Vegas. :)

I wish, I 'm still tryin to get a job there ;D ;D (just kidding).  But you are close.  I kind of like downtown Las Vegas.  Some of those hotels Downtown you can get a room for less then $20.00 on certain nights.
